The Ottone Botanical Garden was born at the beginning of the 20th century and is now Tuscany's finest private acclimatization garden. The mild climate of Elba has favored the growth of a corner of the world where green comes in a thousand shades, from the golden orange of exotic flowers to the turquoise of the leaves of the Palma Azzurra, one of the few specimens in Europe.

As you stroll along these paths, you feel as if you have entered a place where time has stood still. Dwarf palms, almost lying on the ground, alternating with giant ones, create a tropical oasis that envelops the senses and fills the eyes with wonder.

Opening days and times

We are open from April 18, 2025, to October 13, 2025.
Every day from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Admission fee and guided tour by reservation only (minimum 6 people).

Visits for groups and schools

Guided tours for groups and schoolchildren can be organized in the Giardino dell'Ottone, by appointment only.

Available services

Everyone who enters the Garden has access to the services of Rosselba Le Palme, the camping village where it is located. Restaurant and bar for lunch, dinner, or quick snacks with the kids, pool park, and Le Palme Wellness, our SPA with indoor wellness area (for a fee).

Toilet facilities are always available, and parking is free of charge.

The Giardino dell'Ottone hosts lots of events, like concerts at sunset, cultural gatherings, guided botanical walks, workshops for adults and kids, and green aperitifs among tropical foliage with glimpses of the sea.
